SUMMERY OF THE STORY

Janat Kay Pattey was written by our beloved writer Nimra Ahmed. For the first time I have read such kind of a novel which covered many genres. It was a bunch of mystery, suspense, love, teachings, thrill and exotic traveling spots. I just Fall in Love with this story and characters. The amazing and magnificent portrayal of Turkey would actually make you add this country to your tourism list. The topic remains as much interesting for readers as from its 1st episode to its end.
The title of the novel is very authentic related to its story.
The story is based on two main characters Haya Suleman and Jehan Sikandar. One side of the story revolves around the topic of “Hijaab” and how one verse of Quran could change Haya's life forever. The transformation of a modern girl (Haya) to a Naqabi girl was the main essence of this novel. The Other side of the story depicts the life of a spy guy jehan Sikandar and his duty’s severe and harsh demands.
Mr. Suleman has two children, Haya (modern Girl) and Rohail. Rohail has been studied in U.S and Haya has been selected for a scholarship from the European union and she leaves for Turkey for about five months. The main reason of Haya to apply for this scholarship is jehan because they both were bond in childhood nikah, which was forgotten.
Many characters such as Major Ahmed, Khawaja Sira, Pinky and Dolly added to the suspense element of this story.
Major Ahmed was displayed as Cybercrime Agency worker. He removed the dancing video of Haya and Irum from the webs and actually did give her a strange advice about jannat kay pattay. Dolly saved her from Waleed’s trap and it was spot on and he bashed her saying “Be-haya”. And Pinki was Dolly's friend who told Haya that Dolly love’s her too much.
Haya and DJ (haya's friend) both reached Turkey n story goes on.
Abdul Rehman Pasha was portrayed as the well-known smuggler and Haya was warned to take good care of herself against him.
Turkey changed Haya forever and for good. And she starts Sharhi pardah. Tafseer of surah Al-Ahzab was beautifully written by Nimra Ahmed.
The other impressing character, Ayshe gul, her pieces of advice, her faith, her personality and politeness are enough to make an unforgettable character.
Bahary Gul, is also a sweet and interesting character as well.
The other part of story was based on Jehan. This character is recently the heart-throb of many girls. The reason behind this is his caring, rude nature. He understood Quran very deeply and this was shown very beautifully by Nimra Ahmed in the tafseer of Surah Al-Falq. Jehan was definitely suffering from inferiority complex because of the past of his perfidious father. He loved his country and was serving him in a best way possible. He didn’t want Haya to come to Turkey as she would know about his secret. The way he helped Haya was out of this world. He didn’t like Haya because she didn’t fulfill what مرة جميلة of jehan demands but later on he admires her.
At last the Moral of the Story ...
To make your belief as strong as u can, is a very marvelous theme.
It shows that modernism is not something to be reliable. It is a temporary phase that must come to an end. And what will long lasting, is our faith, our deeds and our repentance.
On the other hand after reading Haya's character, Niqabi Girl has boosted their confidence level to a higher degree. Coz If people can be so confident when they are wrong, why cant the hijaabi girls, be proud and confident of their face-covering!
And I am thankful to Nimra Ahmed who wrote such a unforgettable novel.
